The indoor heated pool and both jacuzzis suited us perfectly, and I appreciated having secure private parking underground. We stayed five nights in the last week of February. Our room was lovely, with a sunny balcony, and the check-in staff greeted us with smiles and made a great first impression. The restaurant across the street, which is part of the hotel, was excellent. So was the food and staff on the back patio overlooking the golf course. Breakfast in the main hotel had good choices and both indoor and outdoor seating. As a Hilton Diamond member, I felt this Double Tree location delivered on the benefits. We’ll definitely return.

We had a good stay and would come back. The course was well looked after, the practice and driving areas were good, and club storage was available. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a good variety each day. Staff were friendly and helpful. We went in February, when there wasn’t much open nearby for lunch or drinks. The beach is about a 25-minute walk, with few cafes open there either. The outdoor pool was closed, as expected, and we had fun playing padel tennis with equipment available. The indoor pool, wellness area, and gym were good, though some parts were out of action for one day.

We came for Christmas, our third stay this year, and had a wonderful time. The buffet dinner on Christmas Day had a smaller selection than usual, but the food was much better, full of flavor and with a great range. Staff were as welcoming as ever. Our dog had a goodie bag, bowl, and bed waiting in the spacious, quiet room. We were allowed to eat with the dog in a separated area at the back of the restaurant. Maybe it was for Christmas, or because it was cold, but it was a great addition. Please make it permanent!

The staff were warm and attentive, even calling shortly before midnight to check that we were still coming since it was getting late and we had a reservation. The rooms were clean, and we ate really well at the restaurant. It’s a lovely golf resort in southern Spain, close to the beach and several shopping centers.

We had such a good September stay at Islantilla golf and spa resort, and felt welcome everywhere we went. Everyone working at the hotel was friendly and hardworking. Our clean room was plenty spacious, and we enjoyed the food on the half-board plan. We also played golf on all three courses, which were in great condition. The buggy staff were especially helpful, cheerful, and friendly, and everything went smoothly. The clubhouse was lovely, and its staff were just as welcoming. They made our holiday, and we’ll definitely be back. A beautiful little slice of paradise.
