Hotel Restaurante Portugal

The family who run the place made our stay, grandparents through to grandchildren, every one of them was lovely. It felt welcoming and was clean, and we really appreciated the way they looked after us. Thank you, we'll definitely come back.

The room was roomy and clean, and the bed was pretty comfortable. Everyone on staff was attentive and very friendly. But being beside the road means you hear traffic, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything through them.

We found it a comfortable, pleasant place to stay and ended up spending two peak-season nights there. We booked each afternoon, after looking for somewhere nearer Isla del Moral at a reasonable price and finding nothing. The two rooms we had were the same in both layout and decor. It's well connected, so it works for trips to the beaches as well as the countryside. There's a café-restaurant on site for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food we tried was quite good. Service was very friendly, and the outdoor parking area is handy if you're planning to drive around.

We got in late Friday, and not knowing the area, asked the guy if he could sort us out with dinner. He quickly made us some delicious mixed dishes, and we were treated so well. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean, well equipped, and fantastic. Parking was easy, with loads of room, and everything is close by. The staff deserve a 10 for the service. We had a great stay and will definitely return!
