Hotel Alisa

We’ll probably make this same trip again in a year and would stay here again. The hotel was comfortable, good value, and in exactly the right spot for us. WiFi worked very well. There wasn’t a bin in the room, only a little one in the bathroom, which seemed strange, and another pillow would’ve been welcome. We arrived late, so didn’t try dinner, the bar, or the other facilities.

They let us leave our motorhome here overnight after we asked, as long as we had a drink or a meal. The staff were friendly, and dinner was lovely: a three-course menu with bread and wine for €16. The onion and bread soup was especially nice.

For a stopover, this place works really well and is good value. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though there aren’t many comfortable spaces to spend time in, so I wouldn’t want to live here. Dinner had a good selection, with three courses for 16 euros. English is spoken here.

I was travelling from Andalusia to Bilbao and this made a perfect stop. The room was spotless and suited me well, with a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and a lot of warmth even on a freezing night. The bathroom showed some wear, but everything worked. The lady who took my phone booking and helped me at reception was very helpful, thank you! The evening Menu del dia was excellent value, and breakfast at 5 euros was very reasonable. The photos in the other reviews match the room and food accurately. I had alubia con chorizo and chicken with patatas, both very good.
