Hostal La Font

The soup was great, which I especially appreciated since I'm pregnant and can hardly eat anything. Still, 15€ for soup seems too expensive. We got there after 12, although the kitchen doesn't open until 14, but they served us the soup anyway. My husband and I had a good experience.

We managed to communicate even though only one staff member spoke English and we couldn't understand most of what the others were saying. They were all friendly and, I dare say, efficient, and helped make our one-night stay memorable. The place was busy and hot both inside and out. The relaxed atmosphere, a small, really sweet village, and a valley ringed by beautiful mountains made a great setting for rustic food that exceeded our expectations. Prices were very affordable. When we woke up the next morning, we got to see most of the animals on the menu 👌

The rooms have been renovated and are a good size, and breakfast has a nice variety. Lunch and dinner were delicious, with more food than we could manage. The full pension plan is great value. It's called a "hostel," but honestly it's better than some hotels I've stayed in. Great mountain setting and really good food for the price.

The location is great, and there's a private underground garage. We had a nice room and bathroom, and the beds were good. The staff were helpful and service-minded. 👍
