Casa Rural Teresa

The village is very quiet, and everyone at the place is friendly. It feels like being at home, with rooms in the traditional style of little Spanish villages. Breakfast was orange juice, coffee, toast, orange jam and butter. Dinner had natural ingredients in traditional dishes, with a first plate, second plate and dessert. A great place to stay for 2 or 3 days.

Teresa was incredibly helpful, and the food and wine were fantastic. The place was very comfortable and clean, and they were very Covid aware. It also makes a good base for touring and is good value for money.

We had a confirmed booking and had paid a deposit, but on arrival in a remote rural village they first didn't open the door, then told us they were closed. After we showed the confirmation, they said there was no heating and we couldn't stay. They promised to refund us, but it took a week and many texts, and at first they even tried to charge us for cancelling. They did give us a bottle of wine as compensation, but that wasn't enough. Being left miles from anywhere late at night is a real risk, so we can't recommend booking.

There's a walk along the River Turia just across from the house. It's great for the dog, which matters most to me.
