The hotel’s interior is pretty dated, but if that doesn’t bother you, it’s a fine place to stay and good value for money. Lièrganes is well worth a visit, with a worthwhile two-hour walk around town and the surrounding area to see all the pretty buildings. It’s not an easy stroll, so wear good shoes. The location is excellent.

We only stopped for drinks on the terrace, and really enjoyed it. Our Spanish is limited, though we do try our best, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks!

What a letdown. The waiter just grunted at us and plonked our two coffees on the counter. We won’t be going back.
