The garden looks out over the river, and there are handy bars and restaurants in the old town. The place has loads of character, with elegant old furniture and lovely antiques in the rooms. The owners are siblings, both very charming, and Gaby is a delight. There’s no lift.

The owner was friendly and happy to chat, and the hotel has kept its character really well. The internet could be a bit quicker, but it wasn’t a big deal. Such a charming place.

You can’t park there, and they don’t serve lunch or dinner, but I’d still say this is the best place to stay when you come to Lierganes. The atmosphere, charm, and hospitality are hard to beat.
