Masoveria De Lladó

The kids had a brilliant time during our 12 days here. It’s easy to head out for walks in the woods or play sports right from the house, and the Garrotxa region, nearby pools, and even the coast are close enough to visit. Back at the house, the cows grazing and Bimba the dog, along with the cats greeting us in the morning, made the rural setting feel special. There’s no rooster, either, so we could stay up late. A lovely summer family break, with none of the urban noise.

The owners were really attentive, and we’ll definitely be back. It’s a great area for excursions, and the house was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with everything we needed to feel at home. A charming place to relax for a few days.

The house itself was nice, but all six of us were unhappy with how the owners treated us. We were charged an extra €50 for leaving after 11 am on Sunday, which we couldn’t understand. At most of the other houses we’ve stayed in, they’ve at least let us remain until noon. I wouldn’t recommend it, because I couldn’t see myself going back.

The views were beautiful, and the location worked well for both hikes and drives to nearby places of interest and beaches. It’s an extraordinary, fully ecological house with everything needed for a good stay. The young family who own it were friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. We also fell for the family pets, two cats and a dog who did their job and were sweet company. We’ll return.
