Apartamentos Ancora

Loved it.

We were in a duplex, with two spacious double bedrooms, a TV in each, and bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. One bathroom had a shower, and the living room included a sofa bed and kitchen. The place was fully equipped, cleaned impeccably every day, and had free parking. It's a complex of ten apartments about five minutes from lovely Barro beach. The owners were so welcoming and attentive, and we really appreciated finding umbrellas in the apartment. The price was reasonable compared with other places nearby. Many thanks to Ma. Antonia, her brother, and her mother for their hospitality. We'll keep it in mind for future visits. One downside: although the bedrooms face outside, there's no balcony or terrace to sit outdoors.

The pools were great and never felt crowded, though they were open only from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We were two couples in a third-floor apartment from July 28th to 30th, with a bathroom for each bedroom. Everything felt new, was very clean, and the apartment was super nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. Salou beach is close, about a 7-10 minute walk down one avenue to the promenade. 100% recommended, and 10 out of 10 for the staff!

Ancora Apartments were a great base, just a few minutes on foot from Barro Beach. The apartment was new, well equipped, and really clean. Service was excellent, with attentive and flexible staff. Highly recommend.
