Hotel Bufón de Arenillas

We arrived on Friday night, and on Saturday morning were told we couldn’t leave our dog alone in the room. They claimed it was mentioned on the page, but it wasn’t on their website or on bookings. That’s not reasonable for a place calling itself pet friendly. We had to take our 14-year-old dog everywhere, as if he were an object attached to our keys. The dog fee on bookings was 20e, and the total there was 160e. I found the hotel on Bookings, googled it, and called to ask if rooms were available and whether pets were accepted. They said yes, said they were pet friendly, and recommended paying them directly to avoid the fee. The total was the same. To pay directly, they asked for the card number, expiration date, and secret cvc from the back, which I consider illegal and impersonal. Any self-respecting hotel has an online payment system, and asking for card details from both sides is illegal. There was no refrigerator in the room, no remote control for the air conditioning, and no breakfast. I also don’t recommend the restaurant’s food. After the room was cleaned, I found some of my personal things moved and others stuffed in drawers. I canceled the card I paid with, filed a complaint, and will never return. In reply to your answer, I’m glad you know about breeds and what PPP means. To help you, the Bull terrier isn’t classified as a dangerous dog, not even PPP. This discussion is getting embarrassing. Yes, it’s a bull terrier, not a pit bull. I told you that in the first phone call when I asked if you accepted pets. You asked what kind of animal and said, “not a horse.” I answered exactly, a 14-year-old bull terrier. I think you’ve crossed every limit. Your recommendation to find accommodation elsewhere is completely inappropriate. Even if this were the only place in the whole area, I wouldn’t come back. A wonderful day to you too.

The lady was so kind and took care of anything we needed. It was a really nice, quiet place, perfectly clean and very comfortable. We’d definitely return!

The lady at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We got a warm, kind welcome, and the rooms were cozy with quiet, well-working air conditioning.

We stayed a few days with our dogs. It’s a clean hotel with an authentic style, and the people working there are really friendly.
