Casa de Aldea El Valle

We had lovely views and found everything very clean. Quique made us feel at home in this charming house. Buelna is peaceful, and its tucked-away beaches are beautiful and well away from the summer crowds elsewhere. The coffee and bread at breakfast were the best we had on our trip.

La Franca beach is very close, and the small village has a restaurant and hostel where you can eat well. Our room had a terrace and sea views, and on a clear night you could see countless stars. It was charming and very pleasant, though getting there means climbing three flights of stairs. The house as a whole was beautiful and very clean. We stayed a few weeks ago and loved it, highly recommended.

There was no Wi-Fi. The second-floor room was tiny, damp-smelling, and had a very uncomfortable bed. The bathroom was low, without an outside window or ventilation. Its skylight was blocked, and the old bathtub had a crack in the bottom.

The owners were very friendly, and we were happy with our week there. Our room was great and had a sea view. Wi-Fi doesn't reach the rooms, so for a movie at night on a laptop or tablet, download it beforehand or use the dining room connection. It's good value for money, and we'll definitely be back soon.
