It’s peaceful around El Corral de Encima, and the location is handy for both Llanes center and the highway. But the house needs a lot of attention. It felt poorly equipped, with old furniture and things that seemed thrown together from whatever was available. The shower screens didn’t work properly, the TV was smaller than my laptop screen, and there were no cleaning products. There were also lots of cobwebs, which made it seem like the cleaning hadn’t been thorough. The heating only came on from 8 to 10 am and from 5 pm until midnight, which wasn’t convenient when it was cold outside those hours. We’d already checked in online, but the owner still insisted everyone show ID in person when we collected the keys, slowing down the process unnecessarily. A quiet, well-located place, but with plenty that needs improving.

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. At payment, they insisted on cash, and when we asked for a receipt, they refused. The house had spiders everywhere, and they were pretty big. The heating ran on their schedule, even though we had a small child with us. I would NEVER recommend staying here. Very bad.

We really enjoyed this holiday home. There’s plenty of room, with spacious bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, and it’s near lovely beaches as well as the A-8 motorway. Parking three cars was easy. The garden has a table, gazebo, and grill, which made it great for eating outside.

It’s very close to Llanes but tucked into a really quiet area. The house has all the basics and more: dishes and cutlery, glasses, a microwave, washer, dishwasher, toaster, plus sheets, blankets, and towels. There’s space to park several cars in the garden.
