We loved stepping straight out into nature after breakfast, with lovely walks around the meadow beside the villa. From our spacious superior room and the meadow, the mountain views were astonishing. The hotel is nicely decorated, too. It’s very quiet here, with cowbells as the only sounds, which really gives it that village feel. Breakfast was decent and tasty, and the staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to receptionist Ana Paola for the local recommendations. The location also makes it easy to get around, with beaches and mountains both about 30 minutes away. Signs at every corner along AS-115 made the hotel easy to find, even without a navigator. Thanks to the whole El Pandal team for making my stay such a pleasure. See you next fall!

We stayed three nights, and El Pandal was our favourite stop on a three-week trip. I loved walking through the hotel's large, productive chestnut grove, and the setting felt wonderfully remote while still putting us within easy reach of great hikes and the Picos de Europa. We really enjoyed the family-friendly El Camin Encantau hike nearby. Our superior double room with a balcony was spacious, comfortable, clean, and relaxing, with a lovely view and a roomy bathroom with two washbasins. The soundscape was lovely too, with cowbells, sheepbells, and plenty of birdsong. The owners gave us a very warm welcome. Getting there is a little complicated, so I’d follow the road signs instead of Google Maps. Breakfast could be a bit more interesting, perhaps with cheese sometimes instead of ham, as some other reviewers have mentioned. Still, I’d go back to El Pandal in a heartbeat.

The views were magnificent, and the staff were all so friendly. It felt like staying in a cosy country cottage, charming and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good too. Highly recommended.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the view from the hill with the sunbeds is breathtaking. The family running the hotel were amazingly friendly. Thank you all again! My only issue was breakfast, which should offer more for a 4-star hotel. Everything else was perfect.

Stepping outside in the morning to that view of the mountains, cows, and sheep was awesome. Stunning scenery!
