The staff are very welcoming and do their best to help, even though not much English is spoken. It’s a simple, spotlessly clean place in a lovely valley, tucked away beside a babbling brook. There’s breakfast and a bar. The village restaurant serves traditional Asturias food, but it only opens on weekends from 2 to 6pm.

Management and staff are lovely, and the place is very clean. It’s an awesome choice in Rio Caliente, one of the only hotels there. The penthouse rooms could be much better, and if you’re tall the shower is a little awkward to use, but it’s not too bad.
I haven’t stayed at the hotel or used its facilities, but I drove the route from the AS-340 through Riensena and along the 6km stretch of LLN-14 today. There isn’t room for two cars to pass, which is awful and could cause a serious accident. Getting there via the AS-115 is much easier. Motorcycles and bicycles aren’t affected, but everyone else is at risk. I couldn’t report the road issue to Google Maps. All the best, and much praise.
The sound of the stream outside our window lulled us to sleep, with cows and calves grazing in the meadow across from us. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the beds cozy, and the large bathroom had a bathtub. Everything was impeccably clean, and the property was immaculate. Breakfast was served at the table, with both sweet and savory options. The nearby beaches are easy to reach, and there are little places to eat close by. Ribadisella, Llanes, Conga de Onís, Pico de Europa with its beautiful monastery, and the Bufones de Pría cliffs are within walking distance. We had a wonderful, relaxing time, and everything was beyond my expectations. I liked it all, nothing negative. Asturias is wonderful. The hotel is immersed in nature, with green surroundings, a small stream, and a lovely path for walks. Xavier and Antonio are splendid people. Each evening Xavier would tell us stories about Asturias, and we really enjoyed hearing about the region. ❤️❤️❤️
We felt right at home and were very comfortable. The service is wonderful, the hotel is very clean, and they put a lot of care into breakfast. It’s in a charming spot where you can set off on hiking trails, and Javier and Antonio are always happy to suggest things to do. We stayed for a week for the second year running. We’ll be back!
