The pool area was lovely, and the staff were really nice and helpful. Animals are allowed, including around the pool but not in it. There's a long, beautiful walk behind the hotel, and shops nearby. Aldi isn't a food Aldi, but Bonpreu is a very big, good supermarket. The restaurant next door is separate from the hotel. Parking is available for clients but unsupervised. The room had a bath. For one night the price was good, with an extra €20 for the animal. Wine was good value too, €2.90 a glass.

We found signs of bedbugs on the sheets and mattresses and had to leave. The reception team didn't argue when we told them and didn't seem surprised, which made it feel like a known problem. It's shameful to host guests in those conditions without taking serious action. The room was dirty, wasn't the one we'd booked, and its windows looked onto an interior patio only 30 cm wide. Nearby hotels also mention this issue in their comments.

The kids loved the play area, with trampolines, go carts, soft play climbing and slides, plus toy horses they could ride around. My partner and I spent an hour relaxing and being pampered at the spa. The family room was clean and well maintained, with a super king bed, bunk beds, a large walk-in shower and a two-person jacuzzi bath. A curtain divided the room once the kids were asleep, so we could read or watch a movie with our side lights on. Housekeeping came every day to clean and change the towels and bedding, and the mini fridge had complimentary water and potato chips. Breakfast had an amazing range of hot and cold Catalan and international dishes. Staff were lovely and always available to help. The hotel is right by a main road with parking on site. Across the road there's a McDonald's, an American-style restaurant, ten-pin bowling with an arcade, a sports bar and several supermarkets. It was brilliant for a family stay.

The service was okay, and breakfast at the buffet was just okay too, not what I'd expect from a four-star hotel. The pool was empty, and the jacuzzi was disgusting. I could remove the dirt by hand, so it seemed like it simply hadn't been cleaned. The pool water was extremely cold, and the roof over it kept the sun from warming either the pool or jacuzzi. This definitely didn't feel like a four-star hotel.

The kids' play area was a welcome feature, and the restaurant food was great. The room was big and clean with a modern feel, but there was no daylight, which made it feel like a box. Fine for one night, though I think a longer stay would be depressing.
