We had a great time, and breakfast and dinner were both enjoyable. Paco, the owner, was very kind, and the peaceful setting made the stay even better. The rooms are stylish and thoughtfully designed, and the value was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!

Cortijo de Vega Grande was one of our favorite stops on our honeymoon motorcycle trip through southern Spain. By then we’d ridden over 1300 miles through big cities and little towns, and we weren’t sure what to expect as we followed a dirt road through acres of farmland. It felt like an oasis, and Paco, the owner, greeted us so warmly. On our seventh day in Spain, the last day of summer, the weather was beautiful, so we relaxed by the pool in the hot sun after he showed us to our amazing room. Paco knew it was our honeymoon and treated us wonderfully, but the hotel also suits friends, families with children, or solo travelers. We were lucky to get a tour of the hotel and grounds, which were magnificent. The care in every detail really showed, and you can tell it’s family run. Paco is kind, knows a lot about Llerenas history, and was a wonderful guide. The food was freshly cooked to order, and even the baked goods were made by nuns from town. It was peaceful and relaxing, with warmth, kindness, cleanliness, service, hospitality and friendship that went beyond what we expected. If my husband and I are lucky enough to vacation in Espana again, we’ll definitely stay with Paco. We recommend it to everyone. A slice of heaven!
