Finca El Corral

Wow, such a lovely, peaceful place to stay every now and then.

This is my favorite place. I don’t want to go anywhere else. I come here to rest and recharge so I can return to work, which I’m passionate about but still need to take a break from. My husband found it, and I can’t thank him enough. It’s just right for me. Pilar, the hostess, is delightful, very kind, and discreet. We feel right at home. The peace and quiet here are incredible, and we’re always alone by the pool. We come in winter, spring, and summer, and I can’t choose which season we like best. The little houses are cozy and charming, fitting right into the landscape. The place is beautiful, right in the mountains and surrounded by vineyards, with a spectacular view over Pop Valley and a wonderful quality of life. You can walk to Xaló and Lliber. The best beaches and coves in the area are close by, with the crystal clear water I adore. There are great restaurants and excellent wineries, too. Thank you, Pilar, for being here and creating what feels like Paradise to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I haven’t been inside and don’t know Corral Estate, but the almond trees around the estate are worth a stop when they bloom, between late January and mid-February. Take a moment to enjoy how beautiful nature is.

I’ve been visiting rural houses in different parts of Spain for over 30 years, and this is hands down the best of them: best equipped and best laid out. Thanks to Pilar for everything. Simply IMPRESSIVE.
