I felt more like a welcomed guest than a paying customer, which made the whole stay even more relaxing. The hosts were so warm, and I’d love to return soon. There’s a dedicated room for massages, and I really enjoyed my session. The pool was one of the best I’ve been to. The house and rooms are cared for down to the little details, and the surroundings feel just as thoughtfully looked after. Breakfast was pleasant, and dinner, which costs extra, was very good too. A wonderful place for a peaceful break.

The food is one of the things I look forward to most. It’s amazing how they take simple dishes and serve them in ways I wouldn’t expect, and I always leave inspired. We’ve stayed here several times, and my husband and I will definitely come back as soon as we can. It’s surrounded by nature but still very close to Barcelona. There’s space both indoors and outside to find a quiet corner and unwind. The house is beautiful and feels like a home, not a cold minimalist space. I’ve stayed in almost all the rooms, and they’re all comfortable and cozy. The owners are lovely, always happy to help or have a chat. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

We stayed five days, and I worried at first that we might run out of things to do. That didn’t happen. Hipica is close enough to walk to, Montseny natural park is about 40 minutes away by car, and there are other masías rurais nearby where you can have lunch and spend the afternoon. I also booked a massage, and the one-hour session was worth choosing over the 30-minute option. The place is a great escape from the city and the crowds. There are lots of spots to read or relax, with beautiful nature around, two friendly dogs, chickens, a goose and horses. The room was clean and comfortable, and I slept well. I could watch the sunrise through the window, while the curtains kept the light out when I wanted to sleep. The food was amazing. We paid for the stay with dinner included, and it was well worth it. Some ingredients come from their own vegetable garden. They serve an entree, first and second plates, and dessert, all generous portions made with high-quality ingredients. The owners are friendly and take care of everything themselves, which really makes a difference. They also took all the safety measures during the covid period, and I felt safe during my stay. BEST. PLACE. EVER. I’ll definitely come back.

The host family made us feel so welcome, and the food was delicious. Add the cozy setting and wonderful views, and this is easily the best accommodation I’ve stayed in. I couldn’t recommend it more.
