For about €55 for the room, this was a bargain. The pool was nice, the sea was nearby, and the room was fine with a modern feel. It was better than I expected, and I’d happily come back for a few days. There were some worn spots, and the bedroom floor could have been cleaner. Music and dancing beside reception were very noisy. Parking cost €16 and was about 100 metres away. It was an open-air, unpaved lot that didn’t seem secure, not great for that price.

It’s a very old 3* hotel, recently renovated, but not to the standard you’d expect of a 4* hotel, as it’s now called. The toilet has no door, the bath floor isn’t level, and the sliding door is broken. There are no hooks for clothes or toiletries. All the wall sockets are broken, though they work. The location isn’t bad, with the Casino just a 3-minute walk away. There’s a tiny 3-metre coffee bar, and no night entertainment apart from rock music.
The food was plentiful, although it got a bit repetitive sometimes. We really enjoyed our stay, and it turned out even better than we expected for the price. The room was always clean thanks to housekeeping, and the staff were friendly, cheerful, and helpful. There were plenty of sunbeds by the pool, so no need to get up early to claim one.
The terrace view isn't great this time, since our room faces another hotel. They'd put the school trip children in rooms overlooking the pools, so we ended up with this view instead. Still, it hasn't spoiled anything. This is my second visit and it's been fantastic again, from the food and rooms to the reception and service. Last year everything was perfect, especially the rooms and pool view.
The evening receptionist was kind and even tried to get our broken AC working, but there wasn't much he could do. We spent the night without air conditioning, then got a breakfast voucher as compensation. The hotel was full, so moving rooms wasn't an option. Our pillowcases were dirty, though a helpful front desk employee replaced them, and the bathroom and shower hadn't been cleaned properly. The staff seemed willing to help, but poor management left them unable to sort things out. Noise came through the thin walls constantly: conversations, footsteps, doors slamming. We also found the hotel far below what its four-star claim suggests. After reading the glowing reviews, I wondered if many were fake. I've stayed in hostels that were cleaner and more comfortable. Save your money, this place isn't worth it.
