Apartaments Ar Dosjoimi

The beds were small, and we even found ants in our room, which was disgusting. They charge 10 and 15€ for anything you can imagine, including sheets, blankets, and leaving the apartment after 11am. On top of that, every person has to pay a 50€ deposit. The staff treated us correctly, but the night guard doesn't trust anyone. We went from our room to a friend's room, and he wouldn't let us stay because, as he said, there were too many of us. If you can choose another apartment, you'd be better off doing that.

The room was filthy when we arrived, even though they charged us a huge deposit to make sure we left the property clean. We had to sweep the floor ourselves. The fridge was broken and dirty, with a dangerous wire hanging from it. After several enquiries and hours of waiting, they replaced it with one that was even dirtier, despite our polite request for a clean one. This place is literally on top of a nightclub, with more nightclubs next door and opposite. Their website says, "All children are welcome," but the staff were shocked when we checked in with children. They knew there'd be thumping music and drunk people screaming until 6am every night. It's not appropriate for kids at all. It was terribly hot, with no fan or air conditioning, so we had to sleep with the balcony doors open. Other hotel guests threw glass bottles, and we were scared one might hit our children or someone might jump in from the balcony. I'm disgusted by the rudeness, abuse, and shouting we got from Concha, the older woman at reception, when we politely asked for help. She spoke fluent English until I asked about the noise and whether we could leave and get a refund. Then she said, "I don't speak English, I will only communicate in Spanish," even though their website boasts, "We speak your language!" and says English is spoken at the hotel. I asked another receptionist if she spoke English, and she said she did and was clearly fluent. Concha told her in Spanish to pretend she couldn't speak English and not help me, so she didn't. Concha rudely said I must be the only person on the planet who didn't know Lloret de Mar was for young partygoers, and that it was my fault for choosing to come. The worst hotel on the planet.

The kitchen was okay, but the rooms were dirty, with old bread under the beds. We were insulted for no obvious reason as soon as we arrived, and then had to wait an hour to check in because the staff were busy on the phone.

We booked for four people, but got a couch for us to sleep on together. There was no AC, and they didn't even provide a fan. If you want towels, you have to bring your own because they won't give you fresh ones. This is the worst apartment I've ever stayed in, and one of the worst experiences I've had in a while. I wouldn't recommend it.
