Augusta Club & Spa - Adults Only

The bed was really comfortable, and the bar and restaurant staff were great. We booked a superior room that was supposed to include slippers and a robe, but neither was there. Parking is cheaper at the lot 300 yards away.

The food was amazing, probably the hotel's best point, and the location is very convenient, about a five-minute walk from the beach, supermarkets, pharmacies and everything else. My room was clean each day and very well climate-controlled, but it was so small that I hit my knee on the heating unit when trying to get to the balcony side. The pool isn't a strong point: it's tiny and only gets sun from midday. The gym had most of its equipment missing or broken, apparently because people had stolen or damaged it. The spa was very good and paid, which I can understand since they probably had to charge or it might have ended up like the gym. There were no special events, just music and no dance floor. I went at the end of June 2025 and noticed most guests seemed to be between 50 and 100. The dress code was quite discreet, not casual. The smell in the entrance was peculiar, like furniture cleaner. Reception staff weren't very nice, though the dining area staff were super nice. Hope this gives you an idea 😊

The walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes through back streets, with shops, bars and restaurants along the way. There isn't much else to do nearby unless you want to pay €25pp for a boat trip. The beach is more hard-core than sand, and the sea was so choppy during our stay that we couldn't really swim. There is a viewpoint where you can take some really nice photos. Back at Augusta, nights were noisy: we could hear people flushing toilets and hoovering at all hours. From the balcony, the view might be someone's washing line or even straight into their flat. The beds felt like pasting tables with sponge mattresses and a sheet on top, so this isn't a good choice if you have back problems. It took three attempts to get a kettle because the breakfast coffee was questionable. The food was awful, and we were glad we hadn't booked fully inclusive. We ate out every morning instead of trying the breakfast. If you just want to relax at a hotel, it might suit you, but I wouldn't return to Augusta. I might try a different hotel in the area.

The breakfast has a wide selection, including fresh fruit and salads, and the freshly costimied omelette is a must. Our room was spacious, with a private balcony and a good view. The beds were very comfortable, with neat, crisp linen, and the bathroom was spotless with no smell. The lobby is spacious too, and the corridors are wide and well kept. Reception staff were professional, cooperative and courteous. I'm enjoying my stay with my family and would love to visit again. ♥️
