Hostal Mozaik Lloret

I left two days early and didn’t get even one euro back, after paying 100 euros a day. This stay completely ruined my holiday, and I don’t want to stay in Lloret again. The location near the beach and clubs means street and party noise until 4 or 5 in the morning, then garbage trucks arrive around 6, clattering bottles just as you’re falling asleep. There’s also plenty of smoke smell and you hear all kinds of people through the night. The only way to block some of it is to close the balcony door, but then it’s hard to breathe normally. The balcony door was broken, and the balcony itself was tiny. The bathroom was small, with a 60×60 shower and a broken curtain, and there was no ventilation in the toilet. There’s no air conditioning or air circulation. The hotel is old and has no facilities, though it does have an elevator. Towels and room cleaning are only provided if you ask. The TV only works if you have your own streaming account and can pair it. The sea-facing pictures might look idyllic, and the reception staff were nice, but this place has nothing to do with proper hotel or accommodation services. Run for your life. You’d be better off throwing 100 euros away than staying here.

The bathroom has no ventilation and is a hotbed of fungi. I booked three nights but left after just one. I asked for a solution, but they didn’t seem to think that way, and I got no refund for the two nights I didn’t stay.

The view of the beach and the location are both great. The facilities, though, aren’t very good.

The hotel had closed, yet it was still being offered on Hotels.com. How can they list a place without checking whether it exists? My day was wasted, and I spent hours, including the whole afternoon, trying to find somewhere else to sleep. Shameful. I’m angry and disgusted.
