The food was great and the pool was nice, but the rooms weren’t anything special. They’re small and cluttered, and the lack of air conditioning is unbearable.

Really good.
The pool was a plus: it’s large, has different depths, and there are sun loungers, though they may all be taken depending on when you arrive. The room was a real letdown. We’d heard there were nicely renovated rooms with great views, but ours looked onto the neighboring wall, about 1.5 meters away. Without a balcony, there was nowhere to dry clothes. If you want peace and quiet, especially in summer, this may not be the place for you. There’s a camp for Polish teenagers at that time, and you can imagine what that’s like. WiFi is paid and works poorly in some areas, best near reception. There’s also free WiFi, 15 per day (at the speed it works, that’s not enough). I don’t recommend this hotel.
The food was cold and unseasoned, with the same pasta every day in different shapes. The queues were unbelievable for the 21st century. The dining room manager was the rudest woman I’ve ever met, and could kick someone out of a meal over an exposed belly. Staff showed literally no respect, and the “CUSTOMER IS OUR KING” policy is a running joke. Our room had little creatures, a broken toilet, weak shower pressure, torn curtains, no blankets or duvets, and a balcony door that wouldn’t close. There was no air conditioning or even a fan. As for the claimed 10 minutes to the beach, the owner must be dreaming. This hotel is a pure disaster. Even at €5, it wouldn’t be worth it. Conditions are better in the nearby park.
Traveling with Funclub, be prepared to wait up to several hours for your room after an exhausting journey. Check-out was much the same: we handed in the key at 10 a.m. and waited in the lobby until 10 p.m. for the bus home. The attached picture gives an idea of it. The organization is truly excellent, in the sarcastic sense. The hotel is quite far from the city center and beach, with an uphill walk. The rooms had old furniture, windows that barely shut, tattered curtains, and no blankets, only a bedspread like a curtain that was hard to sleep under. The online photos don’t show what it really looks like. Every morning there was street noise, music or housekeeping coming in, even while we were in the room. Sleeping with the window open was practically impossible. In summer in Spain, no air conditioning or fan was especially bothersome. The WiFi you can buy was practically nonexistent. Food was incredibly monotonous. After a week, I was dreaming of a good Polish dinner. There was no fresh fruit, just canned peaches served with pasta every day. The dining area had huge queues and little room to move around.
