The beach is beautiful and the hotel is in a great spot for getting to it. The place was very clean, staff were polite, and the food was okay. I'd recommend the hotel overall. The dining room was frustrating, though. There was always a queue forming up to an hour before it opened, and I saw French guests pushing into the food line. The seagulls were annoying, but that's not the hotel's fault.

The beds were the main drawback. They use two single beds as a double, and they come apart very easily in the middle. Noise also carries between rooms and from the corridor. The location is perfect, at most a three-minute walk to the beach, and the food was very good, with lunch and dinner changing day by day. The guys at the bar, Jose, Adrian & Anas, and the other restaurant staff were cool and always happy to serve us.

The staff were really good, friendly and smiley, and helped when they could. The hotel is budget-friendly with basic amenities, and the beach is close, which is great. Rooms were very basic but mostly clean. It suited a lot of the clientele, which was mostly pensioners. There wasn't much for small children to do. Doorways were narrow, so my pram struggled to get through, and the lifts barely fit it too. The lifts are programmed badly: even pressing for the lobby, you'd end up at the top floor and stop on every floor going down. Rules about drinks changed every night, and the food was basic but edible. We stayed four nights. It served its purpose, but we won't be back.

What stood out most at Htop Amatista was the way staff handled a confusing room mix-up that could easily have soured our holiday. Andrea at Reception was our first contact. She stayed kind and calm, took ownership of the problem, and coordinated a solution while making us feel listened to. General Manager Molina also got personally involved and made sure things were sorted smoothly. She was open, professional and concerned about our comfort. Their teamwork made us feel like VIPs and strengthened our trust in the hotel. The staff's warmth and ability to deal with an unexpected situation made a strong impression on us. The food was varied and delicious, the animation program lively, and the atmosphere was full of friendly conversations, smiles and positive energy. The hotel's people, especially Andrea and General Manager Molina, made the stay memorable. We had an enjoyable holiday and can't wait to return. Thank you.
