Castell Bohio

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. The host was easy to reach, very helpful, and shared plenty of good local tips and places to visit. A delicious lemon sponge cake was waiting as a welcome gift, too. Thanks, Marcelo and family! The house is huge, with 8 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We used 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and everything was clean, spacious, and in excellent shape. The living room and dining area are enormous, but even when we were noisy there, it didn't carry through to the bedrooms. Five bedrooms sit beyond the kitchen, which gives them great privacy. The garden is lovely, full of different plants, with a great outdoor area. The pool is large enough for a big group, and there's plenty of open space to set up tables and eat after cooking on the Weber grill. We were unlucky with the wind, so the pool wasn't ideal, but we enjoyed all the other facilities. Being invited to pick lemons from the big tree was such a nice touch. There's ample parking, enough for at least one car per room. The heating and cooling worked perfectly, hot water was always plentiful, all powered by a heat pump, and there were lots of towels.
