Finca Alegria

The room was cozy, the accommodation lovely, and we really enjoyed breakfast. A few things did take away from the stay, though. The water pressure was disappointing, and after housekeeping the room still wasn't clean: there were skid marks in the toilet and a sanitary napkin wrapper on the floor. That shouldn't happen in a room that's been cleaned. The lighting was poorly designed too. We were generally comfortable and enjoyed our stay, but the cleaning needs improvement.

We spent July 2023 at Finca Alegria and found it an ideal place for a holiday. The owners were easy to reach and glad to help with things like restaurant bookings, while the staff were friendly and accommodating. Everything was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was included, carefully prepared, and a lovely way to start the day. The finca and rooms are beautiful, and we spent many peaceful, relaxing hours by the pool. It works well as a base for day trips too, or you can simply stay in and unwind. For us, it was a perfect holiday in a perfect place.

The best beaches are all within easy reach, and Palma is just a short drive away. We spent a week at this wonderful finca in the summer with our 8-year-old daughter, and felt at home from the moment we arrived. Brigitte and Roland have created something special here. The rooms are lovely, everything is very clean, and the decor has been chosen with good taste. Each morning our hosts welcomed us with a really delicious breakfast. After that, we could spend the day by the finca's pool or head out on an excursion. We can recommend this place 100%.

The quiet here is unbeatable, and we love the mix of finca living with hotel service. We will definitely return to this beautiful Finca Alegria. Patricia, Ralph, and Katja deserve special mention for their warmth and friendliness. They helped with any problem and gave us great restaurant and excursion tips. There's also a shuttle service. We flew home feeling wonderfully refreshed after another relaxing stay. We were lucky to get a room at short notice for our second stay at a finca owned by the Sommerlad family. We had a baby with us and were given a spacious ground-floor double room with a private terrace. A crib and highchair were provided free of charge. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The outdoor area is gorgeous, with a very large pool, plenty of loungers, and parasols. It's about 3 km from Llucmajor, a handy starting point for exploring the island. We rented a car directly from the owners and were also provided with a child seat. The handover was easy. Breakfast was beautifully laid out each morning, and Lucy made fresh egg dishes when asked. There were several kinds of coffee too. Sitting on the terrace made it easy to feel at ease and start the day refreshed. We went to both of the sociable themed evenings, the BBQ on Wednesday and paella on Friday. They were a nice chance to chat with other guests. We also booked an Ayurvedic back massage with Bianca at very short notice. That was a must-do for us. :-)
