A great place to stay.

Having stayed in 42 countries and lived and worked in several, I can say this is among the finest places I've been. The rural setting and building are outstanding, and so are the rooms and their quality. Philippe, the owner, really adds to the experience and does a great job looking after guests. Completely satisfied, and highly recommended.

The garden makes this a lovely place to relax, with a swimming pool, climbing wall, and archery range. It's also very close to Lobios in the Xures mountain range. Inside, the old house has been restored with care and good taste. It's clean, modern, comfortable, and well soundproofed, so there's plenty of privacy and independence. The owner, Felipe, pays close attention to every detail. Breakfast is generous, with fruit, juice, cold cuts, and toast, more than we could finish.

The house has been restored exquisitely, and it's such a peaceful place to stay. We spent two nights at Filipe's, and he looked after every detail with real sensitivity. The rooms were very comfortable, the mattress was wonderful, and the views from the window were idyllic, with horses and green forest. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was generous and carefully prepared: orange juice, fruit, cold cuts, bread, yogurt, cake, and coffee. Filipo was a lovely host, gentle and thoughtful, and there was always good music in the living room and kitchen, where he's clearly a good cook. Thanks for everything. We'll be back!

The food was so good that my wife and I each ordered several dishes, and neither of us wanted to share. The couple with us enjoyed their meals just as much. We would've booked another dinner if we'd known how good it would be, even with the extra cost. We stayed in October for the Gastronomic Days package, which had a fixed price for accommodation, lunch, and breakfast. The experience had sounded promising from the reviews, but it turned out even better. The owner was attentive from the start, and even lit the fireplace so we could have a drink in the dining area before dinner. Quite a discovery.
