The highlight of my stay at Casa Rosalia in Lobios was meeting Alber. He was a wonderful host, and talking with him about Galicia, his family, the home's history, and Galician cooking felt like catching up with an old friend. He's a trained cook and made an outstanding bacalao with potatoes and homemade bread. I wish I could have it again! He also packed me more homemade bread for the long walk the next day. The room was cozy, clean, and well furnished. Staying here is one of my best memories from walking the Caminho da Geira e Arrieiros. I'd definitely recommend Casa Rosalia in Lobios for an authentic Galician experience.

Rustic, cozy, and very homey. Albert and Begoña are so welcoming and kind, they make you feel like old friends. If you want somewhere different and out of the ordinary, I'd recommend staying here.
