F&G Logroño Hotel

The location was amazing for our two nights in Logroño, and the rooms were nice, though the beds felt a bit springy. We were setting off on a cycling tour, and the hotel had bike parking in the parkade plus space to put our bikes together, which helped a lot. There was a mix-up about storing our luggage, but the front desk staff worked it out and found a place for our bike bag.

The room was just what we needed, and the location is amazing. The garage is small, but the hotel staff help out whenever you need to leave. The cafe made great coffee.

You can walk to Logroño's main sights from here, and there’s a long park and gardens along the nearby river. Location was easily the best part, and luggage storage was a nice bonus. The hotel’s services could be better. I think the restaurant only opens Monday to Thursday from 8 to 11 p.m., and there’s no bar, even though the lobby has a seating area. Our room was adequate but could’ve been cleaner. It faced a very close street, so we didn’t feel comfortable opening the curtains or windows without losing privacy. Other rooms may look out toward the bridge. Even with the windows shut, we heard traffic and neighboring rooms. We also didn’t find the staff particularly friendly until our last day, when we finally saw some welcoming faces. I’d recommend it for the location, but other hotels may offer better service and an outdoor space or bar.

You’re about five minutes from TAPA alley, and the location is the main draw. The hotel cafeteria and dining hours are a bit odd.
