Pepi and Mariano's hospitality and attentive service, along with the carefully chosen local food and its wonderful flavors, made this a fantastic place to unwind. The restored rooms are comfortable and full of distinctive details, and the setting is lovely. The architecture has also received a notable award. Excellent tourist attractions are nearby, though having a car is recommended. Once you arrive at La Casona, you may not feel like leaving, and you'll keep coming back. A unique place and a memory for life. Highly recommended.

Mariano even took the time to plan our daily itinerary so we could see the main sights. He and Pepi made us feel at home with their wonderful hospitality, and the breakfasts were spectacular. It's a peaceful, beautiful spot. We were recommended this place, but words don't really do it justice. It was our first visit, and if I return to Cantabria, La Casona will be my next stop.

Pepi and Mariano are the best part of this beautiful building in a privileged setting. They're warm and attentive, and serve generous homemade breakfasts. Mariano's suggestions for exploring Cantabria and the surrounding area are spot on, and his pencil maps are a real gem. 100% recommended.

The rooms are very large and clean, and this is a beautiful mansion. The all-natural breakfast is delicious and worth trying. Mariano and Pepi were top-notch for kindness and service. Congratulations on their professionalism, I highly recommend it.

I've never stayed anywhere better. The hosts' service was exquisite, the rooms unparalleled, and breakfast was fit for a king. It's also close to several really interesting tourist attractions. I'll be back for sure. PEOPLE like this create UNIQUE places and SPECIAL FEELINGS.
