Mr Simpson here. Even with my last-minute trip to Spain, I felt welcome from the moment I arrived until I left. Breakfast was tasty each day, and the room stayed clean even when I was the last guest in. Thanks to Miguel and the whole staff. Five stars from me, and I’ll be back.

The service really stood out. We got there after the last check-in time, but a friendly guy let us in and checked us in anyway. This is a lovely little hotel right by the beach, with shops and restaurants nearby. We stayed out of season and could hear through the thin walls, so I imagine it may be noisy when busy. There’s free street parking just around the corner. I’d stay here again.

The location is hard to beat, just seconds from the beach, and I’d still recommend the hotel. Our room was neat, but the floor wasn’t cleaned before we arrived or at any point during our five-night stay. The shower could use replacing, too. There wasn’t a kettle in the room, though reception had one available, and I may just have been lucky to get it since there seemed to be only a few. Check-in felt abrupt: they asked for our passports, handed over a key, and left us to work out the hotel for ourselves. It’s rated one star, but with a new shower, better cleaning, and more kettles, I think it could be three. Of course, those improvements cost money.
