Hotel Los Molinos

For €40, a night away from the campervan with the comforts of home felt like good value. The place is right on the beachfront, with a nice shower, air-conditioning for hot or cold, and a mini fridge. Bringing a dog costs an extra €5.

We stayed for just one night on the 28th of august 2025, and the people at the hotel were extremely rude. At check-in the receptionist was nasty to us for no reason. The next morning, while my mother and 9 year old sister and I were eating our included breakfast, an old lady there kept giving them horrible looks. Breakfast is listed as 8.30-11.30, but at about 9.45 she turned off all the machines while we were still eating. The customer service was very poor, and I’m not happy at all. NEVER AGAIN. I don’t know who she thinks she is, treating us like that. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to be treated like 💩.

We stayed three nights this time, and had also been here for two nights three years ago. The owners are very nice, the rooms are cleaned daily, and our room was big, with an immaculate bathroom, a fridge, and air-conditioning. It’s a basic hotel, but spotless, which is handy when you’re going back and forth from the beach with sand everywhere. There are a few restaurants nearby, though I wouldn’t really recommend them. Max beach was the exception: delicious food and lovely, friendly staff. Across from the hotel there’s also a nice little coffee and churros hut.

The place was tidy and clean, and the staff were helpful. Just be aware that if you want to sleep past 7.30am, a room above the shops may not suit you. That’s when the shop opens and starts setting up on the pavement.
