Hotel Rural Casablanca

We stayed for 7 nights and 8 days, and the price didn't match the experience. The property was noisy and the service was inadequate. Staff weren't continuously available, and we often had to go looking for someone to help, when anyone was available. Breakfast was late and inflexible, yet outside noise still made it hard to rest longer. Early risers couldn't really enjoy the surroundings or services either. The advertised heated pool was cold. Food was a recurring problem. Breakfast had few items, was often not replenished, and sometimes wasn't fresh. As more guests arrived, there was even less, and several people had to bring their own food to supplement it. Dinner under our half-board booking was similar: limited choices, little communication about the menu, few alternatives, and a rigid approach that meant we had to eat elsewhere on several occasions. Later, we received a midnight message in an unprofessional tone that made inappropriate references to our dietary needs. Even simple requests seemed to annoy the staff. The quality and service didn't justify what we paid.

After long days exploring the lovely area, it was a pleasure to come back to such a comfortable place. Our room was spacious and cozy, and we felt right at home. The restored finca is beautiful, with views over the Atlantic and Teide, and the staff were all so friendly.

The heated pool was great, the location fantastic, and the rooms very pleasant. It was amazingly good value for the money. With more staff and a more professional service, this could be a four-star "agroturismo". I’ll definitely come back.

We had a lovely room and found the atmosphere really relaxed and peaceful. Breakfast was great, though I wasn't keen on dinner since there was no choice.
