Our room's air conditioning wasn't working when we stayed for a night in mid-August, and there were no other rooms available. They wouldn't give us a discount after we explained how unpleasant the stay had been. With Extremadura that hot in August, I'd tell anyone thinking of booking to check that the air conditioning works first.

It's a simple hostel, but the rooms and shared areas were exceptionally clean. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. They even helped me sort out a problem with my car. The location is convenient too, and there's plenty of parking right next to the building.

The food tasted burnt, really burnt. When I mentioned it, they said there was nothing they could do instead of apologizing or bringing me something else.

The food is tasty, homemade, and uncomplicated, and the prices are very good. The waitress and the rest of the staff were friendly and kind, so we'll be back. It's a very pleasant spot in a stunning location, and I'd recommend it.
