Our small hiking group spent a few days here, and it worked out really well. It's an old-fashioned, friendly family hotel run by members of two families, with restful, cool grounds overlooking the town. The rooms are a little small, but the menu de dia is excellent and reasonably priced.

We go several times a year, especially for the delicious food and the spacious setting with views over the countryside. Service is great, and they take real care with the dishes and tapas, which is why lunch is always busy. They also cater for events like baptisms and first communions, with good quality and reasonable prices. If you're around Lucena del Cid, El Prat is a must.

That early 20th-century spa charm made our three-day stay even more memorable. Everything was fantastic, from the well-run restaurant and excellent food to the professional, friendly and attentive service. Santi always greeted us with a smile, and Vanessa was so kind, warm and thoughtful. Highly recommended. We'll definitely return. Thanks so much for everything.
