The kitchen was the best part, roomy and stocked with all the utensils we needed. The living room, though, felt far too small for the number of people the apartment is meant to hold. We’d asked for four beds but got two doubles and a single instead. It wasn’t terrible, just not what we booked. When we arrived late, the toilet was broken; two men came out to fix it after we called the 24-hour number. The house rules mentioned complimentary drinks, but there was only an open carton of gazpacho in the fridge. We also left thinking the main bedroom sheets hadn’t been changed. They smelled used, which was disgusting.

The kitchen is really spacious and has a washing machine, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. For the price, the place was pretty good, and I’d stay again. A couple of small bathroom problems came up, though: the sink leaked and the toilet kept sticking. We didn’t contact the attendant since neither issue was bothering us much, and I mean this as constructive feedback. They said on day one that the Wi-Fi was down and would be fixed that afternoon, but it never came back during our five days. The advertised free drink wasn’t there either, though we did find a couple of coffees.

The room setup wasn’t what we’d been told: one room had a double bed, the other just a single, and there was a sofa bed in the living room. We also had no Wi-Fi, a broken shower screen, and some radiators that didn’t work. The apartment left a lot to be desired. We won’t be back.

They sorted out my booking mistake straight away. I’d reserved the wrong dates, and since the apartment I’d booked wasn’t available, they gave us a better one at the same price. The service was unbeatable, and both the quality and value were excellent. I booked it for myself and a colleague. I WILL RETURN.

We ended up having to find a hotel. The room had no elevator, the floor was sticky, and there was a musty smell. Everything looked old and nothing like the photos. Awful.
