I paid €450 for two nights, but left early the next morning after barely getting through one sleepless night. When I asked reception to cancel the second night, nobody asked why or seemed concerned. They just said I wouldn't get a refund because I'd booked through Booking.com. The noise was awful. There seemed to be no soundproofing at all, and I could hear people shouting, laughing, and talking in the neighboring rooms all night. There wasn't even a bottle of water, proper furniture like a table or chair, and everything felt old and worn out. This was one of my worst hotel stays. AP Hotel Madrid Airport is advertised as three-star, but didn't meet even basic one-star standards. No service, care, or basic hospitality. Just an overpriced, poorly maintained room with no standards. Avoid it if you care about sleep, comfort, and your money.

We came away happy with our one-night stay before a flight, and would recommend it for that purpose. It's a bare-bones hotel, but the room was clean and spacious. The airport shuttle cost 10 euros per room, which worked for us, and it was clean with friendly staff. There's not much around, so I wouldn't stay here without an airport trip coming up. We skipped room service and brought food before arriving after reading that there wasn't anything nearby. There is a vending machine with some options. Hard to rate the location when being near the airport is the whole reason to stay.

After acting like they were working with me several times, I found out today I'd have to pay double the usual parking rate because of my car's size. With the plane in 3h and a long stay, there was no way out of it, and the price came as a shock. Sorry, but this is my last time.

The cats in the corridor are beautiful and very cute, keeping warm there. The property was lovely and clean throughout, and the car park is huge and feels very safe. I stayed for one night while visiting Madrid. There's a bus stop right outside, with a ride straight to the city center for just a couple of euros at most.
