The place was dirty, dated, and badly neglected. Everything was old, broken, or patched up carelessly. There were cigarette burns on the furniture, a dirty feel, and a cave-like smell. The exterior windows were from the 1970s, letting in a lot of cold or heat. The furniture and fittings looked over 40 years old, and there were holes in the kitchen and bathroom tiles. Soundproofing was terrible; you could hear the neighbor snoring. Access was awkward too, with two flights of stairs before the elevator. That could be a problem with heavy suitcases, strollers, or wheelchairs. I thought the price was outrageous for this kind of accommodation: over €150 a night, €468 for three nights, during Easter Week 2025, when Madrid was empty. A place like this shouldn't have cost more than €45 a night. In response to the woman who replies to reviews, look at the photos I posted. You can't see the stench or bad smell in pictures, but the rotten door trim, broken tables glued and screwed back together, grime in the kitchen and bathroom, and general condition say it all. When someone is filthy and lives in neglect, everything seems wonderful to them. The tourism ministry should take action against businesses like yours. They're breeding grounds for infections and a terrible image for tourists.

What a shame. I live in the neighborhood and didn't stay there myself, but I paid for a night so family members could stay somewhere while renovations kept them from staying at home. I should have read the reviews first; they left no doubt that this was a place to avoid. My family said the kitchen had no utensils, the light switches were broken, the sinks had no hot water, and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, among other things. It doesn't have to be a five-star hotel, but it should meet basic standards, and this fell far short. We emailed to say we wanted to file a complaint. They replied that they'd take our feedback into account to improve their service. I think they make money from one-night bookings by unsuspecting people like me, who don't check reviews and learn about the terrible service only after booking.

The location was good, and the building entrance and elevator were better than the apartment. Staff were helpful when we picked up and returned the keys. The place served its purpose, but I wouldn't come back unless I had no choice. It wasn't anything special, and it wasn't as clean as accommodation should be. They said it was fine for four people and could fit six, but there were only two beds and a terribly uncomfortable sofa bed. The bathroom badly needed work. The strangest thing was the kitchen, built into a cupboard.

My family's stay was awful, and I wouldn't recommend this place. Their flight was delayed, so they arrived late and couldn't reach the accommodation. Even though they'd paid, they were left stranded on the street the first night. The person who gave them the key the next day was very unfriendly and denied any responsibility. They also had no water for most of the stay. A very unprofessional company that doesn't care about its customers.

Absolutely awful. The apartment was a tiny hovel split into three or four sections to squeeze out more profit. New things had been thrown together with fixtures older than Puerta del Sol, the city's historic center, as if that would stop customers complaining. The living room light and lamps didn't work, there were no kitchen utensils at all, and we had to cut a loaf of bread with our car keys because there wasn't even a knife. The taps didn't run, and the cleaning was superficial, like something my mother-in-law had done. Sonia, the manager, was outwardly cordial, but as cold as a tax inspector trying to squeeze you dry, with a hypocritical smile and eyes fixed on money from tourists and people needing emergency accommodation. You might put up with all this for €25 or €30 a night, knowing you're paying very little. But at their exorbitant prices, this is outrageous. Future customers, stay away and spend your money anywhere but with these crooks. If you're paying a lot for somewhere to stay, choose somewhere decent or give the money to someone else. Don't let what happened to me, my girlfriend, and my newborn daughter happen to anyone else. SHAMEFUL.
