The noise from the room next door went on until 4 a.m., with people talking and laughing all night. I knew what the room was like from the description, so I won't dwell on that. The self check-in was a nightmare for me. It may seem simple to them, but I was left at the door for several minutes trying to work out the steps, and I didn't realize how complicated it was until I arrived. I also wasn't comfortable with how much personal information they required, including my bank card details, or with all the rules about paying for anything damaged. What really upset me was the stated charge if a woman stains the bed during her period. We're human, and even when we do everything we can to prevent leaks, it can still happen. We already try our best to deal with it.

The location worked really well for seeing the city centre during the day and trying local bars or restaurants in the evening. My room was clean, and the bathrooms looked good when I arrived. I stayed for a couple of days. I had a smooth check-in because I looked into the process a few hours ahead. I'd suggest not leaving it until the last minute. I saw other guests struggle, including people who didn't speak Spanish or English and people who found there were too many steps. A couple of cleaning workers were around, but when guests asked them for help, they couldn't assist. It would help to train the staff who are actually on site to troubleshoot, and to offer the app in more languages.

The walls are so thin that I could hear the people next door having sex as soon as I arrived, then later kids running and singing in the hallway at night. It left me speechless. If you sleep heavily and can put up with that, it might be fine for you. Otherwise, I'd pay a bit more for somewhere more pleasant. Getting checked in is complicated, with lots of steps, even though the name says "Auto Check In." And I wouldn't call the place a hotel. It felt more like a hostel or something.

I paid through booking.com, but I still wasn't allowed to use the hotel. During registration the owners require a credit card, and they don't accept debit cards for payment. What a waste of time and money in the 21st century. They didn't offer a refund either.
