The room was a good size, with tea, coffee, and snacks included, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to find, with plenty of parking and restaurants and cafes nearby. There were lots of places to walk my dog, and access from M50 was easy. I’d definitely stay again.

The room looked just like the photos online, which was reassuring, and the air conditioning worked very well. Reception said they could adjust it if I wanted the room cooler. Staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English, so communication was easy. The hotel felt quiet and safe, and it seems suited to families, groups, or business travellers. We drove from London to Madrid, so the location worked for us, though it’s quite far from the centre. I’m not sure what nearby public transport is like, but having a car made a big difference. There’s a petrol station next door. Parking inside the property costs extra, but free parking is available nearby; we parked outside while we were out most of the day and had no issues. The facilities were good, and the breakfast area was clean and well kept. The free drinks station, open 24/7 with coffee, hot chocolate, and juice, was very useful. It was affordable and comfortable, so I’d still recommend it and would consider coming back. The main problem was cleanliness in the bathroom, toilet, and on the floors. The beds were made every day, but those areas weren’t cleaned properly. I told reception and asked for housekeeping, but they mostly just made the beds again, which was disappointing.

The main downside is how far it is from the centre. From Valdecarros to Sol takes about 30 minutes, then it’s a 15-minute walk to the station. Still, I really enjoyed my stay and would return next time I’m in Madrid. The hotel is new, modern, and very clean, with well-kept facilities and helpful staff. Free coffee is available in the lobby 24/7. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with a smart TV offering YouTube and Netflix, and they’re cleaned daily. Excellent value for the price.
