The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast had a big selection. Staff were friendly, and the metro was only a three-minute walk away. Excellent hotel.

4/10
The breakfast itself was good, though the setup needs work. The buffet area was cramped, so people kept bumping into one another, and staff restocking food made the crowding worse. On our last day, a staff member asked us to complete a feedback form, then wanted it back blank before we could finish breakfast, apparently because their shift was ending. The gym was completely unsatisfactory, and photos on both the hotel website and Booking.com gave a misleading impression of facilities that didn't match what I'd expect from a four-star hotel. There was late-night noise in the corridors, and the shower water pressure was extremely low.

Breakfast had plenty of options, and the hotel is very close to the airport. The metro station is an eight-minute walk away. The one drawback is that they don't provide guests with flip-flops. Parking costs €15 a night.

6/10
We found the staff helpful and friendly, and the location worked well for getting to the airport and city centre, with metro stations a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of fresh choices, from pastries and fruit to hot dishes. At Hotel Elba Madrid Alcalá, our room was spacious and clean, with modern decor and a really comfortable bed. The amenities were good too, including fast Wi-Fi, a useful work desk, and a well-equipped bathroom. I'd definitely stay again.

Good food, a great breakfast, friendly staff, and very good value for money. The hotel and rooms were nice. I'll recommend it and would gladly stay there on my next trip to Madrid.
