Eurostars Madrid Tower Hotel

Getting around Madrid was easy, with nearby metro stations and public transit. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with lots of fresh, high-quality sweet and savory choices. My room was modern, sparkling clean, and well soundproofed, and the bed made for a peaceful night's sleep. From arrival, reception gave me a warm, professional welcome, paid close attention, and shared useful local recommendations. The hotel felt luxurious but still welcoming, a comfortable place to return to after long days out. My stay at the Eurostars Hotel in Madrid exceeded expectations and made the trip unforgettable. I'd recommend it for either business or leisure and will absolutely choose Eurostars again on my next trip to Spain.

The rooms are dated, and it would be easier to overlook that if the service and food were better. There are no outlets or charging ports on the bedside tables, so keeping two phones and an iPad charged all week was a struggle. Most of the curtain and lighting controls worked, but not all of them, and not consistently. The TV didn't work, and after maintenance left, I found that half the remote buttons were broken too. I gave up on the TV and music. Room service food was UNFORGIVABLE, really bad and surprising because the breakfast buffet is great. Don't order the salmon or soup. Better to get UberEats. Free late checkout until 2pm was great, but other small things were missing: no umbrellas available at 10am when it had just started raining, and no notepad or pen in the rooms. The jacuzzi spa costs €30 for 45 min, and spa treatments and massages had limited availability. It was a good stay, but I don't think it was 5 star.

The concierge was very good, the rooms were nicely presented, and I liked the location. But it's certainly not 5 stars. The AC in my room didn't work, there weren't any plug sockets near the bed, and I couldn't figure out the window blind controls. Breakfast was average at best.

The Ahava products in the bathroom and that lovely scent in the corridors were a nice touch. Breakfast and service were great, though the lifts got slow during busy periods. The rooms are beautifully furnished, but the decor feels quite dark and heavy and could use more lighting. The location worked well for the airport and nearby offices, but it’s a long way from the city centre, and traffic meant about half an hour to get there.
