Hostal Los Rosales

I was there for an overnight layover and was glad I found this place. It's easy to reach, with food and transport options all around, and the room was clean with everything I needed. The woman at the front desk was so patient and friendly. I hadn't realized the desk wasn't open 24/7, but she waited for me to arrive, helped me out, and then left shortly afterward. It was worth it, and I'd stay again.

Clean, tidy room on a quiet street, with nice local restaurants and a breakfast cafe nearby. The hostel was nice, and the staff were kind, cheerful, and helpful. They always seemed willing to say yes.

My private room was spacious, with a full-size bed, air conditioning, and its own bathroom. It was all clean, I felt safe, and it cost just $55 a night. I only stayed one night, but it was fabulous, and I could check in early since the room was ready by noon. There’s a great cafe/bar across the street, a delicious sushi place called sushi and buey just down the road, and a supermarket nearby. I definitely recommend this hostel.

We paid 56 Euros, below the average hotel price, and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are simple, with no luxuries, as you'd expect from a 2-star hostel, but it was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly. There are plenty of tapas restaurants nearby. We had an 11-hour stopover at Barajas airport and came here to shower and relax instead of waiting at the airport. It's about 2 km from the airport. I'd recommend an Uber, which is cheaper than a taxi, for a quick rest during a long stopover.
