For an overnight stop between flights, the location is handy and the airport shuttle is free in both directions. The sheets and towels were clean. Sleep was another story: the air conditioner was very noisy, and the thin walls made it impossible for us to rest. The blanket on the bed was stained, and some bathroom fixtures were a bit broken. There’s no elevator or facilities for disabled guests. Our friends stayed at nearby airport hotels for the same price or even less, and theirs were much better.

There’s a free shuttle to the airport at 5:30 in the morning. You can also walk there using the covered path over the highways, just follow Google Maps walking directions. The noise, though, was the worst I’ve run into during three weeks in Spain. It felt like the building amplified everything, from keys turning and people talking on the street to planes taking off. Bring earplugs, and maybe a spare pair.

The rooms are well equipped, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the price is very reasonable. The airport is close enough to walk to, which came in handy because the transfer never showed up when I arrived. That’s my only complaint.

The shuttle service was unacceptable. I called and waited 30 minutes before calling again. The person who answered spoke very rudely and said it wasn’t an ambulance service and I’d just have to wait. I expected at least an apology or a quick “on my way.” Poor customer care.
