ibis Madrid Aeropuerto Barajas Hotel

We were only there for one night before flying out of Madrid Barajas Airport, and the staff were so friendly, attentive, and kind throughout. The food was really good too, so we didn't feel any need to go elsewhere for food, drinks, or entertainment. I'd happily stay here again in a heartbeat.

Bring earplugs. The place is welcoming, with comfortable rooms, helpful English-speaking staff, and an awesome breakfast at a good price. There's a great supermarket nearby, and it's a charming spot to study. Charging stations are easy to get to. They also have an electronic vending machine selling EUR-to-USA wall plugs with a fast charger type C. Thanks for the stay.

It's a clean, modern hotel close to the airport, with plenty of nearby places to eat as well as a restaurant in the hotel. A few things could be better: no refrigerator in the rooms, weak shower pressure from the flow restrictors in the spray handles, and no proper drinking glasses, just useless paper cups.

I wouldn't choose this for an easy overnight before an early flight. Check-in took 45 minutes, and I didn't reach my room until 11:30 pm. That's the last thing you need when you only have a few hours before your next flight. Bring plenty of patience.
