We had a comfortable room, and the housekeeper was very helpful about replenishing things. She was smart and kind despite the language difference, which I appreciated. In some other countries and cultures, I've found staff who made no effort to understand guests speaking different languages. The front desk team at check-in were also caring, efficient, and made things smooth. As other reviewers have said, the staff here are very nice, and I wholeheartedly agree. On our check-out morning, 11th May 2026, Jorge at the early morning front desk was friendly, informative, and helpful. The train station is ideally close for our early trip to San Sebastián the next morning. Uber cost less than 10€.

A good way to see Madrid without staying in the expensive, crowded, noisy city center. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though noise depends on your neighbors, as it does anywhere. Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. There's a bus stop right in front and another line's stop just 50 meters behind the hotel. The metro is within a 15 min walk. I'd definitely stay here again.

The staff were polite, and check-in and check-out were handled efficiently. Our room was clean, reasonably sized, and everything worked as expected. The hotel is a fair distance from the main city center and popular tourist areas, but it was manageable. Ride-sharing services like Uber made getting into the heart of the city quick and convenient.

The hotel is in the Chamartín district, next to the M-30 motorway and just 164 feet from Alfonso XIII Metro Station. The historic city center is about 20 minutes away by metro. Guests describe the rooms as oversized apartments rather than standard hotel rooms. Most are spacious suites with a separate or integrated living area, wooden floors, and 43-inch flat-screen TVs. The daily breakfast is highly rated and includes eggs and tortillas made to order, plus dedicated menus for celiac and food-intolerant guests. Staff are often praised for being professional and friendly, with a focus on social inclusion. A significant portion of the team includes people with disabilities. The hotel also offers fully adapted rooms for guests with mobility, auditory, or visual impairments, and is a leader in ADA compliance.

The reception team made a stressful situation much easier. I lost my passport on the day I was meant to check out, so I had to add another night to my late-November stay. Everyone was calm, kind, and genuinely helpful. Ilunion Pio XII was also very clean and well kept. It’s convenient for the airport, and there’s a train station nearby for getting into the city centre. I had a really pleasant stay and would happily return in a few weeks. Thanks to the whole team for looking after me so well.
