Hotel ILUNION Suites Madrid

There’s no gym, which I really miss after long days at a conference. Still, we’ve been bringing a fairly large meeting here every year for several years because the flexible, spacious rooms work well for more complex events. The main room can seat up to 130 people conference-style. The hotel takes the needs of people with disabilities seriously. It has more wheelchair-accessible rooms than most places, the kitchen can handle special diets, and the friendly staff are ready to help with other needs. It’s in one of Madrid’s few neighborhoods that hasn’t been gentrified yet, with few tourists or attractions. The busy commercial centre is only a few stops away.

Breakfast was very good, and the prices were also very good. The rooms are large, airy, bright, and come with useful amenities, though the lighting could be better and it would be nice to have water bottles in the room. The bed and shower could use improvement too. There was no view from my room, but it was very quiet, which I liked. The area felt safe and pleasant, with handy shops and restaurants around. The hotel is fairly near the airport and not too far from the city centre and Bernabau stadium. Staff were all very nice and helpful, and spoke OK English. It seems pet friendly. Thanks to ILUNION for making my stay comfortable.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the hotel is pet friendly. Just bear in mind that the dog parks are a bit far away, so late-night walks after a few drinks can be tricky. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and bars all around, with good prices since you’re just outside the city centre. Buses and the metro make it easy to get into town, and the location isn’t far from the city.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially if it’s your first time in Madrid. There was no kettle in the room for boiling water, and when I called reception, they were rude and told me to change rooms. We also had a problem with our charger, and the gentleman gave me the same response. The staff were very unhelpful and eventually stopped answering our calls.
