LooP América - Adults Only

Getting here from the airport was easy, and that’s the only good thing I can say. The room with the shared bathroom was uncomfortable and very basic, though the air conditioning worked well. There wasn’t even a sink in the room, so brushing your teeth meant using the tiny sink in the shared bathroom, right beside the toilet. It felt disgusting to brush my teeth where other guests had just washed their hands after using it. The furniture and everything else looked cheap, and they charged an extra 5 EUR when I arrived without explaining what it was for. I wouldn’t come back.

Getting the Wi-Fi codes and a food station set up would make the service better. The booking confirmation form should be completed too. Also, the 2 pm check-in time doesn’t work well with what your form says.

The location was the one real plus: there’s a bakery nearby, and the subway is within walking distance. Inside, the drains smelled like sewer, and at times the hallway did too. The floor was raised in places, with the concrete slab visible, and the walls were stained and could use stain-resistant paint. There were also bugs. The night I arrived, I woke to little things hitting the wall and found giant flying ants. I smushed them and tucked a towel under the door to keep more out. I also saw a large water bug come in. People smoked despite the no-smoking rule, and the smell got into my room. I messaged the person in charge twice and got no reply. It’s hard to enforce a smoking ban when nobody’s there.

This is an underground bunker style place, with hardly any light. The photos on Booking and here are misleading because the room is much smaller in person. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
