A clean, good hostel close to the metro, public bikes, a shopping center, and a grocery store. I’d recommend it.

The staff were very nice, and the location was good. The place seemed to me like a former warehouse repurposed with beds. There were only three toilets for around 20-25 people, one men’s, one women’s, and one unisex. It wasn’t very clean either, I found long hairs on my bed.

The location looked good on Google Maps, but the hostel is in the middle of an area where homeless people sleep. The walk to and from the nearest metro entrance took about 10 minutes at a fast pace, and felt scary early in the morning and late at night. I’m still mad at myself for booking it before my morning flight. I barely slept because it was so packed and people kept making noise. The whole hostel was one room with 20+ beds, with up to two people in each bed, so it felt like a 40-50 person shelter rather than somewhere to relax. There was one dirty shower room, no towels, nowhere to hang a towel to dry, no locks for the lockers, and no room for luggage. I didn’t shower because the floor was covered in hair and the room was disgusting. Leaving Madrid turned into a nightmare, and I’m still haunted by the place.

It’s not easy to find, but the place is clean, quiet, and nice for resting before heading out.
