Micampus Foronda 7

I only stayed to sleep. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom fine. I arrived at 2:00 AM and the receptionist greeted me warmly. At my request, they even came to my door at 5:00 AM to wake me up. The area is a bit secluded but still not far from Fuencarral metro station. I’d recommend it if you want to keep costs down and don’t mind staying a little away from the city center.

The area around the building is amazing, and my room was incredibly large and well laid out. I do think guests should be able to adjust the air conditioning and the check-out time. Leaving at 11 am when my flight wasn’t until 8 pm felt unacceptable, especially since I’d checked in at 4 pm on arrival day.

I’ve lived here since September last year, and I’m leaving this review because repeated complaints haven’t led to any action. Access to some shared spaces, like the Foronda cinema room, has been a problem for months. The only pool cue in the Lezama building broke in October and was still not replaced by the end of January, despite reports. Many foosball tables are in poor condition too. There are cameras everywhere, but when property is damaged, no consequences follow, and some people keep mistreating it. The laundry service is outsourced to Clean Laundry Solutions S.L. and has been shameful. There’s always a broken washer or dryer, and the ones that work don’t clean or dry clothes, even after more than one cycle. Micampus should make sure the services it offers are actually provided, instead of making us go to other buildings only for our laundry to come back dirty or wet. I’m only asking the residence to provide what we pay for. I’ll leave this review up until there are real changes, and hope it warns others considering this place.

Since September, living here has been terrible. They advertise amenities that aren’t there: we’ve had no pool cues, the hot water usually doesn’t work, and the heating often fails, leaving us freezing in our rooms. The washing machines don’t work properly, but they still charge us. Problems during our stay are ignored, and when something serious happens, management doesn’t even review the security camera footage. It shows a total lack of concern and responsibility.
